Monochrome – Narrative sequence from images

I have never really struggled to piece together images or objects that I believe look beautiful in arrangement with one another. I find it exciting to analyse details or tones that complement one another. So when given a task to find images that do just that, I began choosing fairly quickly, ripping them out of the magazines to sew them together, and describing in three words the themes, objects, and emotions that I drew from each one.

Writing the narrative sequence was beyond exciting. I enjoy writing poetry and descriptive passages. I can visually see the story play out in my mind; I just need to tie words to each frame of action. Once I began writing, I found that I became consumed by the plot, urging me to add more. Creating life from a series of still images was thrilling and fun.
