My sketches were informed by the number of experiments within this elective, discovering artists such as Dasha Plensen for her insane mould art and the beauty in ‘ugly or boring’ subjects. I became fascinated by creating something that fell under this category, so I began sketching with this aim in mind. I did not find this process stressful, similar to how I found everything on this elective, I had fun with my freedom of creativity and played with different tools and ideas, with a lack of care surrounding the end product.
